Feeling Great

Enough about my family;  Time for something about me!  Sorry if it seems self-absorbed, but you can always skip this post :)

I feel great!  I have now lost 20 lbs since January and am running 3-4 times a week.  I think the combination of the weight loss and the exercise has really started to have an affect on my attitude, my energy levels and just my general happiness!  I feel more confident and excited and am just generally more positive.

I can fit into clothes that I haven’t worn for a year or more.  Some of my ‘current’ clothes are getting too big.

I’m not getting as many headaches.  I feel like I can keep up with the kids better (no one can really keep up with Emma).  I look forward to exercising and am really starting to think I look good.

I’ve still got a ways to go to be really healthy, but it has really been fun and exciting to see these changes.  I’m so thankful to Kathie for her support through this (even if she wants pizza too often :) ).  She has really shown me how proud she is of me and encouraged me through it all.

My goal was to get down to 200 lbs by the time the baby comes.  I’m 9 lbs away and we’ve got 9 weeks left, so it’s definitely in reach.  It won’t be easy, but I really look forward to not looking like a big slug in the baby pictures!!  Plus, I think I’m going to need the extra energy with three kids!

Thanks for indulging me and this post.  I’d really encourage any one to get out there and get active.  It’s really amazing how much difference it can make in your health, energy and, even better, your happiness.

Keep it up Scott. I'm trying to use your accomplishments to finally motivate myself.

Just think if Joe hadn't broke the scale.
